Programs Training Recap + We Want Your Ideas for Next Year’s Curriculum!

Hi Team!!!!

We had an awesome Programs Training last week! It was great to see so many of you on the call and hear your feedback and ideas. I’m continually encouraged by the dedication and passion each of you brings to your role. The children in our CarePoints are truly blessed by your commitment to showing up daily and pouring out the gifts, abilities, and love God has given you. I am in awe of each of you!

During our training, we covered several key topics:

• PURPOSE – Using where you are and what you have to do the things Jesus did. I loved what Katie shared from Pastor Daniel’s discipleship training: Jesus spent 90% of His life BEING with God and only 10% DOING for God—yet 100% of His life had purpose!

• SELF-AWARENESS – Understanding ourselves internally (why we think and react the way we do) and externally (how others perceive us). Shorayi’s question challenged us all: Do you really know yourself? It’s worth taking time to reflect on.

• SWOT Analysis – Jordan led us through this insightful exercise to better understand each of your communities. Be sure to submit your results to your leaders—we’re eager to read them!

• GROWTH – THE YIELD IS DETERMINED BY THE CONDITION OF THE SOIL. The state of your heart directly impacts your ability to grow in every way. Let’s commit to regularly cultivating the soil of our hearts and addressing any barriers that may hinder growth.
